Fern Cabin

We built Fern Cabin around a single window. It runs floor to ceiling across the bedroom wall, so the first thing you see in the morning is mist moving through the ferns and the trunk of a three-hundred-year-old cedar.

Inside it's all linen, oiled oak and wool. The stove is laid for you each afternoon; the breakfast basket arrives at half past eight with bread from the village, eggs from the farm across the valley and our own bramble jam.
